Is This Reversi? is a tabletop sandbox where you can freely handle a Reversi board and its pieces.

Unlike a typical Reversi game, the system does not force legal moves, turns, or the end of the game. How the board and pieces are used is left up to the players.

Freely Control the Board and Pieces

Pieces on the board can be freely placed, moved, flipped, and removed.

You can play Reversi from the beginning, create any board position you like, or start from a position in the middle of a game.

Reversi Without Enforced Rules

“You can’t place a piece there.”
“It’s not your turn.”
“The game ends here.”

Is This Reversi? does not force these decisions on you.

Like playing with a physical board and pieces on a table, players can look at the board, move the pieces, and decide for themselves which rules to follow.
