About This Demo

Bowerland fuses card trick-taking mechanics with a turn-based battle system that focuses on the risk / reward of playing cards from your hand. You don't build a deck here. You and your opponents are dealt hands from the same set of cards each time. It's how you mitigate the risk and manipulate your odds on getting the cards that work best for your synergies and combos to achieve the highest actions amounts to decimate your enemies.

Suit up and conquer those in your path

Choose the strongest suit per round and win tricks to deliver damage or block attacks. Jacks become Bowers, the most powerful card in the deck. Use them to draw out your enemy's trump cards to tear down their defenses.

• 35+ upgradable banners that provide unique bonuses and advantages

• All four starting disciplines are available in the demo to experiment on your runs

• Provoke the Bower King out of hiding by defeating up to two Royal Adversary bosses

• Reach up to Level 10 in the demo to earn Attribute Points to shape each run's starting build

Embark with a chosen discipline, each with unique attributes, bonuses and starting banner. Unlock specializations with additional advantages that keep each run fresh.

Become formidable

Spend Attribute Points earned through runs as you gain levels and achieve feats. Reset and improve the characteristics that work for your playstyle at the start of every run.

Improve your build

Visit Base Camp after every encounter to spend your spoils on new banners, tonics, and upgrades.
