About This Game

Closed-In is a run-and-gun-style, minimal-color pixel platformer with snappy controls and tight movement that focuses heavily on enemy combat and boss fights. You can defeat enemies, adapt to boss patterns, collect gold, make stat trade-offs, buy items, create powerful builds, swap weapons, shoot charge shots and full-meter shots, find secrets, die a lot, and much more!

Travel solo or in a group through the biomes of the caves, each made with a healthy mix of procedural generation and handcrafted elements, making every run a completely different experience than the last.

Learn how to fight each of the unique bosses and dealing with the set of enemies you're up against, coming back stronger and more prepared with each attempt. Look carefully for secrets all over the caves, strategize which items and weapons are best for each scenario, and enjoy the fast-paced, continuous dopamine-inducing, ADHD-triggering platformer combat.

This game is designed heavily around multiplayer co-op, but can be enjoyed just as much in a single player experience, (if not even better, in the case that your friends are bad at the game :) ).
