Your homestead is your squad's source of strength. Homestead: Deckbuilding Academy is a single-player strategy game of building with cards, managing residents and exploring new regions. Turn a handful of humble buildings into combinations that help your home and soldiers grow together. Plan your homestead turn by turn; battles unfold automatically in real time.

Turn ruins into cards, and cards into a home

Lead soldiers to clear ruined buildings and bring the reward cards home. Place houses, farms and workshops, then give residents somewhere to live and work. Grow your small foothold into a thriving homestead.

Set off a chain of growth

Start with two buildings that help each other, then combine facilities to multiply output, grant residents extra work and add construction progress to other buildings. Upgrades can trigger further effects. Play a card to complete the combination, advance a turn, and watch work, production and upgrades follow one another.

Build a stronger home. Lead a stronger squad.

Buildings provide soldier ability cards. Equip them, then upgrade their source buildings to strengthen your soldiers. Grow your squad and storm hostile settlements, unleashing skills in real-time automatic battles. After defeating the defenders, clear their buildings for resources and cards.

Trade, acquire settlements and make room to grow

Browse friendly settlement shops, buy useful cards and complete commissions. Meet the acquisition requirements to take over a settlement, gaining residents, building cards and opportunities to expand your homestead. Put that extra space to work on your next combination.

Take your squad farther

Travel through meadows, forests, wetlands and highlands, discovering ruins, shops and settlements. Each region brings new building and ability choices. Bring them home, find a place for them in your layout, and set out again with a stronger squad.
