Minesweeper, but the mines fight back. Descend an endless shaft where the numbers lie, monsters burrow, and one wrong dig can end the run. Recruit 28 companions, hoard relics, and outsmart the Mole Queen. Survival is solvable by logic — going deeper is the gamble.

About This Game

MINE MINE MINE

It's Minesweeper. And then it really, really isn't.

You know the rules: read the numbers, flag the mines, clear the field. Now put that field at the top of a mine shaft that goes down forever — and fill it with things that move.

Every floor you clear, you descend. The deeper you go, the higher your score, the richer the ore… and the nastier the things buried with it. Mole People burrow under the board and rewrite the numbers behind your back. Timer mines start ticking. One number is always lying to you. And every fifth floor, the Mole Queen is waiting in the dark — a hidden boss you have to triangulate from the numbers and dig straight into.

Survival is always fair. Every floor can be reached by pure logic — you will never die to a blind coin-flip. But clearing a floor for the big payout? That's where you gamble. Bank your gold and play it safe, or carry it deeper and multiply your score with the rats, the lava, and the abyss all trying to take it back.

Dig deeper. Get stranger.

  • 28 companions you unearth mid-run — a canary that warns you, a gorilla that hurls bananas, a paperclip that intercepts your fatal click ("It looks like you're trying to explode").

  • Two dozen relics and a bag of consumables that bend the rules: X-ray monocles, dowsing pendulums, phoenix feathers, a recycle bin that eats a mine per floor.

  • A shaft that transforms as you fall — Stone, Moss, Obsidian, Magma, and the violet-black Abyss, each with its own palette, hazards, and music.

  • A living board — moving moles, rising magma, shifting columns, gas pockets, chained fuses, cracked tiles, and the Mimic's single lying number.

Four ways to play

  • Descent — the main event. Endless, greedy, roguelite. How deep can you get?

  • Daily Dig — one date-seeded board a day, the same for everyone. Share your result in emoji and settle it on the leaderboard.

  • Classic — pure Minesweeper with the reactive smiley. No monsters, no shops. Just you, the numbers, and how far down you dare.

  • Pacifist — guaranteed logic-only boards. For the purist who wants the sweep, not the fight.

Bank it or risk it

Gold you carry multiplies your score — and dies with you. Gold you bank is yours forever, feeding a vault of permanent upgrades: more hearts, more tool slots, a head start down the shaft. Every run makes the next one a little less brutal. That's the deal you make with the dark.

Read the numbers. Flag the mines. Then keep digging.[/p]
