What NitroCore adjusts

• Memory: Windows memory management settings, including virtual memory.

• Processor scheduling and priorities: system policies related to the allocation of processing resources.

• Storage: Windows data input and output settings.

• Networking: system network parameters.

The goal is to reduce unnecessary resource contention and support system responsiveness while gaming, taking the identified hardware into account.

NitroCore analyzes your system, saves the information needed to restore the settings it changes to their previous values, and applies its adjustments automatically.

What to expect

NitroCore changes Windows settings, so some adjustments may also affect other applications. Official Microsoft documentation is used as a technical reference for the Windows settings the software applies.

Performance effects vary with hardware, drivers, Windows version, games, and previous settings. A system that is already well configured may show little or no noticeable improvement, and an FPS increase is not guaranteed.

Administrator privileges, an Internet connection, and SATA SSD or NVMe storage are required. Virtual memory configuration uses disk space. See the system requirements for compatibility and storage details.
