“Agentia is a local-first desktop artificial intelligence (AI) assistant. We are releasing in Early Access so we can finish the product together with real users on Steam.

Our goals during Early Access:
• Stabilize performance and reliability across different Windows PCs and GPUs (Graphics Processing Units — graphics cards)
• Improve the chat-first workflow based on how people actually use local models day to day
• Polish multimodal features (text, images, audio, video) and model/engine setup
• Expand Steam integration (Cloud sync and related quality-of-life features)
• Prioritize the features that matter most based on community feedback

We are committed to continuing development through Early Access, listening to feedback on Steam Discussions and in-app feedback, and shipping regular updates until Agentia reaches a complete 1.0 release.

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“Roughly 6–12 months.

The exact timing depends on feedback, stability across hardware configurations, and how quickly we can ship the remaining planned improvements. We will update this estimate if our plans change.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build is already usable as a local AI (artificial intelligence) assistant. The full 1.0 release is planned to go beyond what ships at launch in polish, stability, and Steam ecosystem features.

Planned additions and improvements for the full version include:
• Broader stability and performance work across more CPU (central processing unit) and GPU (graphics card) setups
• Deeper Steam Cloud sync (including chat history) beyond today’s settings sync
• Better model/engine readiness checks, install flows, and troubleshooting
• Improved multimodal quality and workflow (especially audio and video modes)
• UX (User Experience) polish based on community feedback (hotkeys, search, tips, accessibility)
• Expanded localization and documentation

Features listed as planned may change based on feedback. Please buy based on what Agentia does today, not only on future plans.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Agentia Early Access is a working Windows desktop artificial intelligence (AI) assistant you can use today.

Currently included:
• Chat-first local assistant UI (User Interface): chats, tabs, streaming replies
• Running a local LLM (Large Language Model) on your PC (no cloud API keys required for core chat)
• Modes for chat, development/code help, image, audio, and video workflows
• Local image generation and preview
• Speech recognition, voice output, and music generation tools
• Limited video generation when a video model is available
• Local OCR (Optical Character Recognition — reading text in images) for attached images
• Optional web search / page tools when enabled
• Model management and hardware-oriented setup guidance
• Work panel for settings, file preview/editor, and help
• System tray, notifications, remappable hotkeys, command palette
• Full-text search across chats
• UI localization and Steam Cloud for UI settings, language, and user context (within Steam quotas; chat history stays on device in Early Access)
• Unlimited generation volume (no cloud request quotas); prohibited (including sexual) requests are blocked. Named characters may appear with a copyright warning — use at your own risk

Some engines or models may fall back to placeholder behavior if binaries or model files are missing; Manage models → Readiness check helps diagnose setup issues.

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price during Early Access or when Agentia leaves Early Access.

Early Access customers will keep full access to the complete 1.0 version at no extra cost for the base app. If we later offer optional DLC (Downloadable Content), that would be separate and clearly marked — not required for the core product.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will directly influence Agentia's priorities during Early Access.

How we plan to involve customers:
• Steam Discussions — primary place for feature requests, bug reports, and roadmap talk
• Steam News / update posts — regular notes on what shipped and what we are working on next
• In-app feedback — collect reports and suggestions from inside the app
• Prioritization — we will use community requests and recurring issues to decide what to polish or add next (stability, models/engines UX (User Experience), multimodal quality, Steam features, and more)

We will read feedback throughout Early Access and adjust the development direction based on what Early Access customers actually need.
