About This Game

⚠️ Photosensitivity Warning ⚠️

This game contains flashing lights, high-contrast strobing, and rapidly changing visual patterns that may cause seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. A photosensitivity warning is also displayed in-game before play begins.

Konbini Shift is an arcade puzzler about working the register at a Tokyo convenience store overnight.

Orders pile up. Customers get impatient. Your stock keeps moving. Serve the right snacks, hit your targets, and try not to lose the night's takings.

Enable SPEEDRUNNER in Settings if you want to chase your best time.

WORK THE REGISTER

Orders tell you what to sell and how many. Find matching snacks on the shelf, drag across them, and serve the order. The shelf shifts as you work, so nothing stays where you left it.

Make too many mistakes and you lose the points you've been building up. Keep the shift clean and you'll earn bonuses, while the pressure gets higher with every successful night. VIP customers pay more, but they don't wait around.

SPEND YOUR EARNINGS

Spend your yen on abilities that help you survive the shift: throw away a tile, reduce an order, move a snack, or earn more from a customer.

Between shifts, decide whether to take your money home or risk it in OVERTIME.

The longer you stay, the harder it gets, and the more you stand to make.

MAKE THE SHELF YOURS

Sato, your shift manager, gives you a new goal every night.

Hit your target and you'll unlock the stock room, where you can bring new snacks into the shop and retire ones that aren't pulling their weight.

Build your shelf over time from more than a hundred different items.

Sato: "Miss the goal and you get nothing."

THE KITCHEN >> FULL GAME

The demo takes place on the shop floor. The full game opens up the kitchen.

In the kitchen you'll merge ingredients, unlock machines, and make food that eventually finds its way onto your shelf.

The shop pays for the kitchen. The kitchen changes the shop.

And Sato has his own reasons for asking you to make things.

IN THE DEMO

The complete shop-floor loop, nightly goals, the stock room, break room abilities, OVERTIME, and records to chase.

The Kitchen is waiting in the full game!
