About This Game

One bomb. Four players. One couch.

Somebody is holding a live bomb. When the timer hits zero, that person is out. Everyone else has thirty seconds to make sure it isn't them.
Detonate & Dash is a local multiplayer party game for up to four people on a single screen. No lobbies, no matchmaking, no waiting — press start and the argument begins.

Eight modes. Every one of them free.

  • Classic — pass the bomb, don't be the one holding it.
  • OG Mode — the original rules, faster and meaner.
  • Zombie — get tagged and join the horde hunting everyone left.
  • Countdown — the clock never stops, and neither do you.
  • Elimination — a crowded arena, one survivor, and a pad in the centre that flips every player's screen upside down for ten full seconds.
  • Survivor — two lethal clocks running at once. Starve, or hold the bomb too long. Hide boxes, spinning cannons, and no way to stall.
  • Sports Arena — two teams, one ball, goals at either end, first to ten.
  • Duel — turn-based artillery. Aim, charge, fire. The bomb bounces five times before it blows, and the cannons swallow your shot and spit it back out somewhere nobody planned.

56 arenas, every one hand-built

Not procedurally spat out — designed. Spires. Scaffold. The Warrens. Bottleneck. The Rink. Gridiron. Clockwork. Pendulum. The Aviary.
Every arena carries its own faint blueprint glowing behind the geometry — a boiler room, a classroom, a fairground — so no two rounds ever feel like the same place.
And the arenas don't sit still. Hit a wall switch and the whole thing rotates ninety degrees while you're mid-jump. Gravity follows. You don't.

Bots worth beating

Play alone or fill empty slots with CPU players who genuinely differ. Sniper lines up the shot. Reckless takes it anyway. Cautious waits you out. Hunter comes straight for you. They are not four copies of the same AI wearing different colours.

Everything else

  • Up to four local players — controllers, keyboard, or a mix of both. Controllers drive gameplay for all four players; the menus are keyboard and mouse for now.
  • Player profiles with high scores, levels and per-player records
  • 28 achievements across four pages — and four avatar faces that cannot be bought at any price. You earn those.
  • Avatars: four faces and four colours unlocked from the start. Four more faces and four more colours come with a cosmetics pack planned after launch, and the last four faces are earned by completing achievement pages — 96 looks in total once everything is unlocked.
  • Original soundtrack, with a generated layer that shifts with the arena you're playing

Free to play, honestly

Every mode is free. All of them. 27 of the 56 arenas are yours for nothing, and further arena packs are coming after launch — but all eight modes are in from day one whatever you spend, and they always will be.
We gated modes in an early build and it was the wrong call: the best-built thing in the game stayed invisible to everyone who hadn't already paid. So now you get all eight, and you decide whether the extra arenas are worth it after you've played.

Before you install

This is a local multiplayer game. Everyone plays on one screen, in one room. There is no online multiplayer and no remote play built in. If you're looking for something to play with friends over the internet, this isn't it — but if you have people in the room, it's exactly it.
