About This Game

A patient is dying in the next room. You have a thermometer, a stethoscope, and a coworker who cannot see a single thing you can see.

Rash Decision is a 1-2 player co-op game about describing a medical emergency out loud, badly, to someone who is holding chemicals.

One of you finds the symptoms

The Nurse is in the exam room with the patient. Poke them with tools, read the chart, watch what the body does about it. Nothing you find has a name printed on it — you have to describe it. "It's like a purple? A purple noise?" Voice chat is proximity-based: if you want to be heard through the hatch, get closer, or get louder.

The other one makes the cure

The Biochemist is in the lab with a grimoire that was clearly written by someone unwell. Grind, heat and measure the ingredients by hand — the machines have no undo and no mercy — then carry the results to the Fusionator and package the cure as a syringe, a pill, or a spray.

Get it wrong and it gets worse

A wrong cure does not kill the patient. It changes them. They turn green. Their head triples in size. They go invisible while you are still holding the thermometer.

Mutations stack, and every mutation makes the next diagnosis harder. Some hide entire families of symptoms. Some break your tools. Some add a symptom that was never there, just to watch you argue about it.

Two dead patients and the shift is over.

The shift

 • Four patients, then you're out — short runs, built to be replayed and to be failed.

 • Procedural cases — conditions cross-reference each other, so the answer is never something you memorized last run.

 • Solo mode — an NPC nurse describes the symptoms in text, exactly as vaguely as a real one would.

 • Free 2-player demo and a Friend's Pass at launch: the friend you drag into this does not have to buy it.

You will need

A microphone, a friend, and a relaxed attitude toward the Hippocratic oath.
