About This Game

A small town. A pitch surrounded by a chain-link fence. And a club that doesn't exist yet.

Until you pick the name, the city, the colors, and the crest. From that moment on, the club is yours — and the colors you chose paint the entire game. If you found a burgundy club, you play a burgundy OnzeFoot.

In OnzeFoot, you’re not the manager. You’re the president.

You don't chase after the ball or shout from the sidelines. You sit at the Board Table and make the calls for the week: who comes in, who leaves, who gets paid, what gets promised, and what gets sacrificed. The ball rolls on its own. What comes back to you is the newspaper.

A Gazeta writes about you
After every match, a chronicler sits down and writes about your game. It’s not a match report: it’s a chronicle, written in the lyrical style of classic Brazilian football journalism. He tells what happened on the pitch, comments on the decisions you made during the week, and sometimes holds you accountable.

The chronicler doesn't make things up. If the match was dull, the chronicle is dull. If there was a comeback in the 89th minute, he’ll tell it like it was.

Each chronicle becomes a newspaper clipping, preserved in the season album. By the end of the year, you have a bookshelf — one volume per campaign, written by someone else about what you accomplished.

The pledged word
At the start of the season, you stand before the town and make a public promise. A single, irrevocable choice.

At the end of the year, the general assembly sits down and holds you to that statement. It won't work to say that the year was tough, that the referee stole the game, or that money was tight.

You don't fail against the standings. You fail against your own word.

Decisions that hurt
Sell the home-grown academy prodigy to cover payroll? Keep the kid and squeeze the club's finances?

Every choice gains something and loses another. There are no clean decisions — only the ones you'll have to explain later. And the chronicler will comment on whatever you decided.

What you do
Found the club — name, city, colors, and crest. The identity colors the entire interface.

Make the Promise — four paths, four risks, one irrevocable choice.

Handle business at the Board Table — weekly decisions, with every consequence recorded.

Set the lineup — the chalk-drawn pitch, the starting eleven that takes the field.

Play the Local League — the offline championship, competing against AI-managed clubs.

Manage the finances — payroll is due, ticket sales come in, and the accounts either balance or they don't.

Read A Gazeta — the chronicle of every fixture, stored in your album.

Face the Assembly — judgment day at the end of the season.

Text-based by design, no flashy graphics
There is no 3D engine, no video commentary, no button to press when a goal is scored. Matches are simulated and told through text. The game is about deciding and reading — not quick reflexes.

The interface was crafted to look beautiful on both desktop and mobile. A management game doesn't have to be ugly to be deep.

Fully fictional, intentionally
Clubs, players, and competitions are completely invented. No real names, crests, or photos. This isn't a licensing constraint: it's the whole point. The only club that matters here is the one you built.

No ads. Ever.
OnzeFoot has no advertisements and doesn't sell your attention. It's just you and your club.
