About This Game

FOIL QUEST: a TCG RPG is a roguelike deckbuilding adventure where the cards you FOIL become part of your adventure, following you to your next quest!

Begin each run with a hero and a handful of cards. Choose your quest, build your deck as you go. Face the final boss with your creation. Win or lose, you will keep unlocking new cards!

--HEROES--

Each hero has powerful, unique abilities that changes the way you approach all the other cards in the game.

ATHENA's defense cards not only give 1 additional armor, which is important for survivability. But she also turns that defense into a powerful offense, generating random attack cards and making them free. As she always says, the best defense is a good offense! Or was it, the best offense is a good defense? Either way, she brings both!

DRACULA can sire his summons with the price of blood instead of mana. A strong ability that can get your giant characters in play early on. Keep an eye out for healing cards to combine with his drain life ability to keep him healthy and happy.

NINE TAILS starts with two strong advantages, a bonus FOIL enchantment card right from the start AND each enchantment you play gives her a sizeable heal. Enchantments can lead to huge mid and late game advantages, so her healing ability is exactly what she needs.

LYCAON increases his own attack when ANY character is slain, friend or foe. Not only does this mean his regular attack will be dealing consistent damage every turn, BUT hero attack ALSO increase the damage of every attack card you play.

--COMBOS--

Find fun synergies - increase your spell damage then cast dozens of missiles in a single turn. How much damage can you deal in a single turn?

Huge tempo combos - Discard that giant, expensive character early then cast Reanimate for just 1 mana.

Or go crazy with the true MONDO combos - so many to explore! 

FOIL CARDS TRAVEL WITH YOU

Most rewards belong only to the Quest where you found them. FOIL cards are different. Choose which of your discoveries deserve to travel with you to help you defeat the next boss. Each completed Quest lets you choose and FOIL another card. 

ACHIEVEMENTS - BUILD A COLLECTION, NOT JUST A DECK

Your achievement binder begins small, so every addition matters. Different heroes, card upgrades, branching rewards, and persistent unlocks create new strategies. Hundreds of cards to unlock!
