Why Early Access?

“SUMMIT is an extreme complex open world game with many various things to be discovered. We want to bring our community first hand into the game. We want to discover major issues early and help develop the game alongside the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early access will last for around 6-12 months, this is depending on suggestions and feedback from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to focus on new monuments, weapons, equipment, vehicles and building system improvements. As well as the multitude of features suggested from you, the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“SUMMIT is EXTREMELY early access. If you are expecting a completely polished game, then SUMMIT is not for you! (yet!) We are using early access as an outlet for the community to give suggestions and find all of those pesky bugs! SUMMIT at this state starts the player off on this abandoned procedural island, with various deserted monuments. The player will adventure and scavenge through these monuments gathering weapons, gold coins, and resources. SUMMIT offers a complete building system where players can build and upgrade their bases. Raiding bases is possible by shooting or breaking down walls and doors. SUMMIT is completely player driven.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, SUMMIT will ALWAYS stay as a complete FREE TO PLAY experience.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are aiming to involve our community FIRST HAND! This would be through our discord server which we actively engage with the community on a day to day basis! We also involve using the community workshop and various other things steam allows, creating a fantastic user experience for casual players and dedicated SUMMIT experts. Summit is a free-to-play, first person, low-poly survival shooter set in a massive, vertically driven open world where danger and opportunity collide. Scale sheer cliffs, traverse treacherous ridgelines, battle against other players, and explore sprawling monuments filled with valuable loot. In this harsh, high-altitude environment, mastering the terrain is as vital as mastering your weapons. Every choice matters—whether you’re anchoring a base onto a mountainside, gathering rare resources, or launching a raid on your rivals from above.

Construct and fortify your base with creative building mechanics, using verticality, traps, and layered defenses to ward off enemy assaults. Scavenge the world for weapons, specialized climbing gear, tools, and rare items to secure the high ground. Team up with friends to conquer the peaks or face the wilderness alone—the choice is yours, but trust is scarce at the top.
