Making A Game As An Indie Studio Isn't Easy...

Static Hearts has been in development since early 2026 now and has been one of Team Tinybill's most ambitious projects yet! Being an indie studio that publishes their own games does come at quite a stark cost - which is funding.

All of the incredible artwork, animation and story concepts that you see now have been privately funded by the studio and one of our investors who help us bring our projects to a stage where we can present and showcase the idea to all of you! This does mean though that eventually money does dry up and that in order to keep building the dream and the idea our team has.. we need your support!

About This Game

Two girls. Two perspectives. One story about finding someone who finally understands you.

In the quiet coastal town of Ashridge Bay, two very different university students are trying to figure out where they belong.

Meet Emi

Emi Hayashi is soft-spoken, thoughtful, and used to watching life happen from the sidelines. She fills her journals with words she’s too afraid to share, keeps her emotions close to her chest, and quietly wonders if there's something more waiting beyond the stillness of home.

Meet Kira

Kira Thompson is her complete opposite. A sharp-tongued guitarist from South London, Kira is loud, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore. She wears confidence like armour, hides her insecurities behind sarcasm, and has no intention of letting anyone get close enough to see what's underneath.

Then they meet.

What begins as an unlikely friendship slowly becomes something neither girl knows how to handle. Through music, university life, late-night conversations, and moments neither of them quite knows how to put into words, Emi and Kira begin to discover that sometimes the person who understands you best is the person you never expected to meet.

But STATIC HEARTS isn't just one love story.

It's two stories told from two sides.

And moments you experienced one way in one route may take on an entirely new meaning when you see them again from the other side.

Playing as Emi may lead you to understand something about Kira that Kira herself struggles to express.

Playing as Kira may reveal what Emi was really thinking during a moment you previously experienced differently.

The two routes are designed to intersect and echo one another, allowing you to piece together a fuller picture of their relationship as you experience both sides.

Will they find the courage to open up?

Will they learn to understand each other's differences?

Or will their fears keep them apart?
