About This Demo

Granule is a physics sandbox about a man named Murray in deathless dimension.

There are fourteen items and fourteen powers. Some are the obvious ones, like a bat, a saw, a shotgun and a grenade. The rest are powers: fire, water, lightning, portals, a swarm of crabs, and more.

The systems are simulated rather than scripted. Water is a fluid, and it can be frozen into ice that you can stand on or break through. Fire spreads to whatever will burn and goes out when water reaches it. Electricity travels through water. Portals move whatever passes through them, including rope, crabs and body parts. Blood stays where it lands. Because all of this runs at the same time, things happen that were never meant to. A lot.

Murray has a working body underneath. He bleeds, chokes, burns, freezes and gets knocked out, and you can open a diagram of him to watch all of it. He can also be healed, which is useful if (when) you want to do it again.

This is an early build and it has bugs. There are no objectives and no ending. Mod support, building systems, saving rooms, and more creatures and areas are planned for the full game and are not in this demo.
