About This Game

The forest remembers every shot.

Deep in the Nordic woods, the animals are fat, the air is cold, and old Väinö swears the four Legends of the forest are real. Grab your rifle. Prove him right.

Prey of The Wild is a hand-pixeled 2.5D hunting sim about patience, clean shots, and what happens after the trigger — every animal you take goes to the chopping block, every pelt funds better gear, and every upgrade brings you closer to prey that shouldn't exist.

HUNT

• Track and shoot rabbits, foxes, deer, elk, birds and more across living, layered pixel forests
  
• Hit the glowing weakspot for a clean kill — sloppy shots wound, and wounded prey runs
  
• Push deeper into the woods where the animals get bigger, rarer, and worth far more

CARVE

• Take every catch to the chopping block and carve it yourself — meat, pelts, and the occasional lucky find
  
• Sell your haul, then spend it on rifles, deeper forest access, and gear that actually changes how you hunt

GEAR UP

• Collect 14 hand-made charms — a rabbit's foot, a bear-bone drum, a ribbon of aurora — each bending the odds a different way
  
• Earn legendary carving knives from the mightiest kills
  
• Fill the Book of the Wild with every species you've taken

FACE THE LEGENDS

• Four boss hunts guard the wild: the Hiisi Elk, the Ancient Pike, the Shadow Lion, and the White Bear King
  
• When you're ready, Väinö puts on his sunglasses, grabs a beer, and walks you to the fight himself
  
• He'll cheer your hits, and shout PERKELE! at your misses — recorded by an actual Finn
  
• Every fallen Legend grants a permanent boost... beat the White Bear King and every sale pays DOUBLE

A small, complete game

No season pass, no crafting trees for the sake of crafting trees. Just a warm, funny, occasionally deadly Nordic hunting loop that respects your evening.
