About This Game

A HOLY RACE WITH AN UNHOLY AMOUNT OF SLAPPING

Run, Jesus, Run! is a local shared-screen party game for 1–10 players, created for parties, birthdays, gaming events, and gloriously chaotic nights with friends.

Connect a computer to your TV, make sure everyone is on the same Wi-Fi network, and display the QR code. Each player scans it with a phone, enters a name, and turns their browser into a controller. No mobile app is required.

THREE BIBLICAL RACES GONE COMPLETELY WRONG

The apostles automatically run through Jerusalem, the parted sea, and Mount Sinai. Your phone gives you two simple actions:

• Jump over gaps, animals, and obstacles.

• Slap rival apostles and interactive objects.

Take dangerous elevated routes to receive a blessing, gain speed, and unleash a Divine Slap. Falling temporarily eliminates you from the race, but Jesus may decide to resurrect you. Slapping Jesus can trigger an immediate resurrection, although sacrilege comes with consequences.

THE FINAL JUDGMENT

After three races, the highest-scoring apostle faces Jesus in a one-on-one boss fight.

Everyone else still takes part. Each player chooses whether to support Jesus or the apostle, then keeps tapping their phone to charge their side’s shared mana bar. Fill it before the duel ends to unleash an over-the-top puppet fatality and decide the outcome of the Final Judgment.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Run, Jesus, Run! contains frequent cartoon and fantasy violence, including slaps, knockbacks, collisions, falls, and a final boss fight. The ending may show a stylized crucifixion of Jesus using nails, or Jesus using a crown of thorns as a whip to split a puppet-like apostle in half, accompanied by a brief spray of stylized blood. The game also contains irreverent religious satire and comedic references to death and resurrection. There is no realistic violence or sexual content.
