run a small british pub with up to 4 friends. pull pints, chop fruit, shake dodgy cocktails, and boot the troublemakers out through the window. the bar is small and so are the margins.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“ur round is a co-op game, and co-op games get balanced by real groups of friends, not by the one bloke who made it. early access puts the pub in front of real crews so the chaos gets tuned by people actually shouting at each other over a tray of pints. it also means the roguelite side (upgrades, quirks, night events) grows in the direction players enjoy rather than the direction we guessed.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“we expect roughly six months to a year. the honest answer is that it leaves early access when the week feels complete, not when a date says so.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“we plan to widen the run rather than change it: more upgrades and night events, more quirks, more drinks and stations, and more ways for a shift to go wrong. we would also like to add controller support, more pub layouts, and deeper progression across weeks. the core loop of pouring, serving, surviving and renovating is already in place.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“fully playable solo or in 1 to 4 player online co-op. you can pull pints from kegs that run dry, mix freehand cocktails, land a table's whole round for the bonus, boot troublemakers out through the window, unbox the morning delivery, rearrange the bar, and try to survive the seven shift week. steam achievements, stats and leaderboards are in. visuals are low-poly on purpose. keyboard and mouse only for now. the occasional bug has opinions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“we plan to raise the price modestly when the game leaves early access, as content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“the playtest is the development process. we read everything in the steam community discussions, and feedback goes straight into shift-by-shift updates. bug reports and daft feature ideas are equally welcome. several of the game's best features started life as complaints.”

About This Game

get the drinks in.

ur round is a first-person co-op pub game for 1 to 4 friends. somebody rings the bell, the doors open, and everything after that is your fault.

the round is the job

tables order together. one tab, one tray, one chance to land the lot while the mood holds. someone pours, someone chops, and somebody had better be holding the tray.

real taps, real kegs, no recipe cards

pints pour from taps fed by actual kegs, and kegs blow at the worst possible moment. the fresh one is down in the cellar. cocktails are freehand: chop the fruit, load the shaker, give it a proper shake. the book behind the bar knows the recipes, if anyone bothers reading it.

chaos compounds

smashed glasses leave puddles. puddles take out whoever is carrying the round. the wandering drunk barges the carrier. the beer line bursts mid rush. a rat has opinions. the door keeps going.

your mates are a hazard

throw a lime at the wrong moment, deck a colleague, then carry the body over your shoulder and lock it in the basement cage. HR incident pending.

your pub, properly

every counter module swaps in-world: grip it, line up the ghost, place it. every upgrade arrives next morning as a cardboard box somebody has to open. survive the week. shift 7 is the lock-in.

  • 1 to 4 player online co-op

  • rounds: land a table's full order together for the bonus

  • interlocking chaos: puddles, barges, burst lines, rats, stag dos

  • booted customers exit through the window. the glazier bills you.

  • morning ritual: open the delivery, rearrange the bar, ring the bell

  • a roguelite week: one upgrade a night, darts that pay, quirk drafts

  • dress your bird: plumage, wings, mitts, penguin belly

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

a note on AI: this game is one bloke working very closely with AI tools. the store art and achievement icons are AI-generated images. the code, the procedural music, and the scripts that build the 3D models were written in hands-on AI-assisted sessions. everything is hand-curated - every asset, mechanic and line got reviewed, redone or binned by the developer, usually several times. the robot is never left to its own devices. nothing is generated by AI while you play.
