About This Game

Not every fantasy party is here to save the kingdom.

Heist of Fools is an online co-op game for 2–4 players about breaking into guarded fantasy locations, stealing a priceless relic, and escaping with as much loot as your crew can carry.

The plan is simple. Your crew is not.

Every alarm, triggered trap, and knockout steals time from the clock. When it runs out, the owner comes home—and a carefully planned heist becomes a desperate escape.

Every character has a specialty

Choose from four asymmetric fantasy thieves, each with a different way to deal with obstacles.

The Rogue quietly handles locks and traps. The Barbarian creates shortcuts through doors, furniture, and thin walls. The Mage teleports between enchanted hats. The Alchemist reveals patrol routes and fills rooms with smoke.

Combine your abilities to reach protected rooms, distract guards, rescue knocked-out teammates, and improvise when the quiet approach inevitably falls apart.

There is rarely one correct way into a room. There are simply several bad ideas—and four thieves convinced that theirs is the best.

The loot is part of the problem

Stealing the relic is only half the job. You still have to carry it out.

Small valuables fill your bag and slow you down. Large objects occupy your hands. Heavy treasures turn a quick escape into a slow team effort, while fragile valuables can shatter after one badly timed throw.

Enchanted loot is even less cooperative. A relic might scream when picked up, distort your controls, make you dangerously fast, attract nearby guards, or trigger another magical complication at the worst possible moment.

Carry carefully. Throw creatively. And think twice before giving the cursed relic to the Barbarian.

Every mistake steals time

Guards react to what they see and hear. Running footsteps, falling objects, shattered valuables, and magical accidents can attract an entire patrol.

A ringing door, a triggered floor plate, a failed throw, or a knocked-out teammate can turn a quiet robbery into a chain reaction.

And every mistake has the same consequence: less time before the owner returns.

When the clock reaches zero, the owner cannot be defeated. The only plan left is to run.

Greed is optional. Escaping is not.

Steal the target relic to complete the job. Everything else is optional—and potentially worth the risk.

Every extra painting, coin purse, enchanted book, and oversized statue increases your final score. Do you leave with the relic while the route is still safe? Or do you go back for one more treasure while the clock is bleeding out?

Load everything into the getaway cart, get every surviving thief to the exit, and try not to lose the entire haul during the final few seconds.

Plan together. Panic together. Escape together.

Handcrafted fantasy locations, alternative routes, changing loot effects, and different class combinations turn every heist into a new story.

Sometimes the team will move like a perfectly coordinated band of professionals.

Most of the time, someone will break the wrong wall.
