What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The Last Message is a story-driven historical RPG that aims to offer an immersive experience based on the early history of Islam and the city of Mecca.
Early Access allows us to share the game with players while continuing to improve and expand the experience. The community's feedback will help us fix issues, improve gameplay systems, balance features, and make the world feel more alive as development continues.
By releasing in Early Access, players will be able to discover the beginning of the journey while supporting the development of a larger historical adventure that will continue to grow with new content, quests, and improvements.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last approximately several months, with the full release planned once the first major story arc, from the first revelations to the Hijrah, is complete and the game reaches the level of quality we aim for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will allow players to experience the beginning of the journey, explore Mecca, discover its inhabitants, complete quests, and experience the first part of the main story.
For the full version, we plan to expand the story with additional chapters covering the early period of Islam, from the first revelations to the Hijrah, along with new quests and historical events.
We also plan to continue expanding the world with:
More historical side quests based on real events and stories, including the history of Mecca before and during the Quraysh era.
More NPCs, improved interactions, and a more dynamic world.
Additional activities and gameplay features, such as more exploration activities, challenges, horse-related activities, and other systems.
Further improvements to animations, environments, optimization, and overall polish.
Our goal is to create a richer and more immersive historical world while remaining faithful to reliable historical sources.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the foundations of the experience:
An explorable open-world recreation of historical Mecca.
The beginning of the main story following the first revelations.
Dialogue and quest systems.
Historical NPCs and characters with their own stories and interactions.
Exploration, activities, and world events.
A living environment with dynamic weather, day and night cycles, and a growing world.
A horse riding system and exploration mechanics.
The game is fully playable, but we will continue improving the experience, adding content, and refining systems throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be available at a lower price during Early Access to thank early players who support the project from the beginning.
As development progresses and more content, features, and improvements are added, we plan to gradually increase the price until the full release.
Players who purchase the game during Early Access will continue receiving updates and access to the complete version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of the development process.
Players will be able to share feedback, report bugs, suggest improvements, and discuss ideas through our community channels.
We will use player feedback to improve gameplay systems, fix issues, and prioritize future improvements while staying true to the historical vision of the project.”

About This Game

Explore Mecca Over 1,400 Years Ago

Take part in activities such as helping merchants, finding lost belongings, horse racing, combat challenges, quizzes, and more. Master parkour to reach hidden rooftops, discover forgotten parchments, and restore them by collecting verses from the Qur'an throughout your journey.

A Respectful Historical Experience

The Last Message is developed with great care to respect both Islamic values and historical authenticity.

To preserve this respectful approach:

  • No human faces are depicted.

  • No musical instruments or background music are used.

  • Events are inspired by recognized Islamic historical sources.

  • Locations, characters, and environments are recreated with respect and attention to detail.

Our goal is to offer an immersive experience while treating this important period with dignity and respect.
