About This Software

Itinerant Rig is a touch-first 3D character animation tool built for

creators on the go. Import a rigged character, pose it with your fingers,

key full animations, and export a ready-to-use file — all without ever

touching a mouse or keyboard.

Bring in a character built in Blender (or any tool that exports .glb,

.gltf, .fbx, or .obj) — complete with bones, weights, and shape keys — and

start animating immediately. No importing pipelines, no desktop-only

software. Just your model and your hands.

FEATURES

Touch-Native Posing

Tap a bone to select it, drag the on-screen rings and arrows to rotate and

move it — gizmos built from the ground up for fingers, not cursors. Orbit,

pan, and zoom the camera with familiar touch gestures.

Full Animation Timeline

Keyframe any pose, scrub the timeline, loop clips, and fine-tune motion

with a graph mode for per-bone curves and easing. Manage multiple named

clips per character.

Inverse Kinematics & Spring Bones

Pose limbs naturally with IK chains, pole targets, and planted/pinned feet.

Add jiggle and secondary motion with spring bones and colliders — hair,

tails, and accessories that move on their own.

Eye Look-At Rig

Give your character a draggable gaze target that both eyes track

automatically as the head moves.

Shape Keys & Facial Animation

Animate blend shapes by hand, drive them automatically from a bone (great

for corrective shapes), or set up automatic blinking.

Custom Shaders & Materials

Build layered material stacks per mesh, including your own custom Godot

shaders with live-editable parameters. Save a shader setup once and apply

it to other meshes or other projects in a couple of taps.

Multi-Character Scenes

Add multiple characters to a single scene, each with its own rig, clips,

and materials.

Cutscene Mode

Sequence whole animation clips, sounds, and a dedicated keyable camera into

a full cutscene — then render it out as an image sequence with mixed audio

for editing in any video tool.

Audio & Lip-Sync

Import sound clips and line them up against your animation with a visual

waveform.

Export Your Way

Export a portable, editable Godot project folder, or a standalone

.glb/.gltf file with baked animations — ready to drop into a game engine

or open in another 3D tool.

Multi-Language Interface

Available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese.

Undo/Redo, Autosave, and a full in-app help reference are built in, so you

can experiment freely and never lose your work.
