About This Game

A little companion who lives on your desktop

Desktop Pal is a mascot-raising game that lives in the corner of your desktop. Talk to her between tasks and the built-in local AI will answer. Every conversation stays on your PC — no internet connection, no account required.

It all starts with an egg

You begin with an egg. Chat with it to earn XP and it will hatch into one of 23 girls. Who you get is a surprise, complete with rarity tiers (N/R/SR/SSR).

Raise her, evolve her, fill the collection

Conversations level her up, and at Lv.8 she evolves into a grown-up look. Every girl you raise is recorded in your collection book and can be swapped in anytime. Reincarnate to raise a new egg and chase the full collection.

A to-do list that keeps you going

Add your tasks and she'll call out to you when it's time. Finish a task and she'll praise you — and you'll earn XP. Daily habit tasks reset every morning, so you can build routines together with your favorite girl.

Don't forget to check in

Leave her alone for 3 days and she turns into a gravestone. You can start over with a new egg, but do stop by for a little chat every day.

During gameplay, the mascot's chat replies (text only) are generated in real time by a bundled local language model (Google Gemma 3 via the Ollama runtime) running entirely on your PC. No internet connection is used and no conversation data leaves your device.
