About This Demo

ODDSTABLE DEMO is a single-player horse-racing odds roguelite about reading incomplete information, locking a price, and building a run around the risks you choose to take.

READ THE FIELD

Every race presents six runners with fixed odds generated from public form, ratings, track estimates, stable reputation, and market attention. Reveal limited intel to sharpen your own judgement. The information helps you read the race, but it never changes the bookmaker's price.

BUILD YOUR TICKETS

Start with WIN and PLACE, then unlock head-to-heads, exact finishing combinations, comeback picks, and other race-specific markets as the run develops. Build up to three standard tickets in one race, or make an ALL IN bet that risks every coin and occupies the only ticket slot. Confirming a ticket locks its odds and deducts its stake.

WATCH THE RACE UNFOLD

Each result is resolved from the runners' hidden performance data and a reproducible race seed before the animation begins. Follow six horses through the break, shifting live positions, the final sprint, and the photo finish. Every ticket is then settled independently.

BUILD A TRACKSIDE ENGINE

Visit the backroom shop after every race and buy charms that modify payouts, reveal intel, reward specific markets, insure a loss, or amplify a dangerous bet. There is no charm limit, and duplicate charms stack linearly, allowing a run to develop its own combinations without exponential multipliers.

SURVIVE TWELVE RACES

A run spans four meets and twelve races. You begin with 1,000 coins and face a higher bankroll target after every third race. Miss a target or fall below the minimum stake and the run ends. Clear the final target to finish the tour and unlock a harder Black Book route.

Online Competition Mode — In Development

A competitive multiplayer mode is planned for the full release, where players will challenge rival bettors across a sequence of horse races using bankroll management, odds evaluation, and build strategies. The current public demo is single-player only, and multiplayer is not yet available.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used during development to create or assist with portions of the game's pre-generated visual artwork, including horse illustrations, environmental backgrounds, contract and item icons, decorative UI artwork, the game logo, and Steam store and library artwork. AI-assisted tools were also used to draft or refine portions of in-game text and localization.

All such materials were generated before release, then reviewed, selected, and edited by the developer, and are included in the game as fixed assets. No AI content is generated during gameplay, and the game does not connect to any external AI service.
