Legend of Aether is a game that combines roguelike adventure with autobattler strategy, presented in a 2D side-scrolling combat view. Assemble a one-of-a-kind lineup by cleverly pairing characters, synergies, and equipment to overcome escalating challenges.

Shop & Craft – Freedom to Build

A permanent in-game shop lets you directly purchase characters and synergy-change items using earned currency – no random loot boxes involved. Each character can equip up to 4 synergy-change or equipments, allowing flexible adjustments to suit your current battle plan and experiment with diverse playstyles.

Side-Scrolling Combat & Capture Mechanic

Battles unfold in real time on a horizontal field, with units automatically engaging while full skill effects and animations play out. After each victorious fight, you can capture enemy units and add them to your own ranks – directly filling gaps in your lineup or keeping them as tactical reserves. This system enriches your spoils of war and deepens on-the-fly decision-making.

Dual Progression System

• In-Run Progression: Accumulate resources and temporary boosts through battles, events, and shops during a single session, shaping the outcome of that run.

• Meta Progression: Earn permanent upgrades after each run, such as unlocking starting resources, new equipment, or global bonuses, making subsequent adventures smoother.

• Together, these two layers preserve the randomness of each playthrough while giving long-term players clear, rewarding growth.

Explore the Aether World & Face Periodic Bosses

Set in the mysterious Aether World, the game gradually unlocks regional stories, character backgrounds, and hidden lore as you advance through runs. Every 10 in-game days, a powerful boss appears – defeat it for rare rewards. The entire adventure ties together the conflict and secrets between two worlds,
