About This Game

MOBIUS is a true-story walking simulator narrative about the process of development hell, trauma, and emotional growth.

Inspired by The Beginner's Guide, MOBIUS takes you through the evolution of a real game through 2022-2026, through every personal and emotional twist and turn experienced along the way, and how these events shaped the game that it became.

You play from a first-person perspective of the developer in the past whilst his present-day narrates- and you explore a game as it evolves through the years. From the beginning days of a mindless walking simulator with liminal environments, to the days of a puzzle game and mechanically influenced by classic shooters like DOOM and Halo - through to the end as the game itself realizes what it has become.

A journey of 4 years concluded by telling the events they held, and you experience the raw story that it took to get to exactly what you are playing.

MOBIUS is a linear, nonfictional story that features 10 chapters, and roughly 2-3 hours of playtime for the casual player.
