About This Game

Assemble your build into a mech

Core Assembly is a top-down survival roguelite that brings grid-based assembly into real-time combat. Fit weapons, armor and support modules into your mech, then maneuver through waves of geometric enemies. Weapons target and fire automatically; you decide how the machine comes together.

Move a module. Change the machine.

Module colors, types and positions determine which circuits activate. Gather matching colors, combine module types, or complete a specific pattern to unlock new synergies. Open the assembly screen during a run to rearrange your layout, fill a gap or try a different build.

Protect your build, then rebuild it

Modules take damage individually. When a key module goes offline, circuits that depend on it may stop working. Balance firepower, protection and positioning, and adapt your mech as the fight unfolds.

Fuse modules and explore new combinations

Fuse compatible modules to combine their stats and effects. Add upgrade plugins and licenses, explore burn, freeze, poison and shock effects, or mix colors in one array. Limited space and license slots give every choice a trade-off.

Survive a run. Build for the next.

The full game includes a 20-wave campaign, two boss encounters and Endless mode. Spend earned energy crystals to unlock mechs, research and equip protocols in the between-run Compute Matrix, then take a new combination into the next fight.

  • 7 mechs, 53 modules and 6 colors
  • 34 circuits, 94 upgrade plugins and 16 licenses
  • Grid-based assembly, module fusion and individual module damage
  • Single-player, with English and Simplified Chinese interfaces
