Kindred Arms: The Runt of Hell

Marik was born last in Hell's registry, a runt among demons, thrown to the lowest layer with the refuse. When his parents sacrificed themselves, they became his arms: his mother the sword, his father the gauntlet. Now he climbs. Ring by ring, boss by boss, with outcasts like Sallow, the exiled keeper, at his side, until the cluster of Hell that mocked him kneels to its new demon king.

A note from the developer

Kindred Arms is made by one person. AI tools helped generate some of the assets and some of the code, but not all of them, and every one of them was chosen, edited and placed by hand. The design, the story, the fights and every decision are mine.

No AI content is generated while the game runs.

Kindred Arms is a dark fantasy hack-and-slash set in Hell. It contains frequent fantasy violence against demons and monsters, with blood, dismemberment and cinematic execution kills. Environments include gore and body parts (butchered remains, cages, rot cells). Enemies and bosses threaten and taunt the player with violent language. There is no nudity, sexual content, drug use or depiction of self-harm. The story involves the death and sacrifice of the hero's parents.
