Experience the core expedition loop through the first gate

This free demo contains the opening of The Sunless Throne through its first gate boss. Take command of a fallen expedition guild, begin with four adventurers, and recruit new allies as you build multiple parties.

Repeat expeditions and raise a hero to level 10 to unlock the Mine Warden, the demo's final battle. Defeating the Warden concludes the demo with an exclusive ending scene.

Plan short, perilous expeditions

Compare the risks and rewards on the expedition board before choosing who to send. Inside the dungeon, limited SP, rising encounter danger, and the road home all demand attention.

Reaching the exit is not enough. Defeat the elite party guarding the final path to complete an expedition. Press deeper for greater rewards, or withdraw while your party still has the strength to return.

Raise a guild, not just one party

Adventurers return from expeditions needing rest and treatment. Recruit allies at the Tavern, buy and upgrade equipment, and prepare a second party to take over while your veterans recover.

Experience, equipment, materials, and Ascension Points earned through combat and exploration provide permanent progress for future expeditions. The demo includes the core guild-rotation system built around managing more than one party.

How the demo differs from the full game

The playable demo is limited to the Sunken Crypt and the first gate.

The Echoing Mineshaft, Fogbound Labyrinth, Ember Warren, Frostbound Abyss, and Sunless Throne are not included in the demo. The full game expands the campaign to six regions, eighteen expedition sites, five gates, and the final confrontation.
