About This Demo

This free demo contains Chapter One, “Discarded Hound,” from beginning to end.

It is not the complete game. It is a self-contained vertical slice that lets you play Chansung’s opening journey—from betrayed soldier to the first steps of a Lord—from beginning to end.

Lord of Lords: Dawn of the King is an official adaptation of Wolwoon’s Korean web novel Lord of Lords, commissioned by the original author.

THE STORY INCLUDED IN THE DEMO

Chansung is the legendary platoon leader of the Blue Dragon Battalion, a covert Korean special forces unit. Betrayed by his own commander during a reconnaissance mission in the Amazon, he loses his men and reaches the edge of death—only to be sent through a dimensional rift into the world of Gates.

The demo begins with the Amazon death trap and last stand, then follows Chansung through his rebirth, Neutral Zone 216, and the survival and conquest of Gates E-456, E-398, and E-318. It ends at the final scene of Chapter One, “Discarded Hound”: a confrontation with the Taeyang Guild on the eve of an elven war.

Along the way, Chansung awakens the rare trait “Lord,” obtains the Lord Set, and recruits the mage Celline and the Hero-grade ogre Baljak.

GAMEPLAY CONTENT INCLUDED

  • The complete Chapter One opening arc — A prologue and three acts paced for a visual novel. The demo ends on Chapter One’s cliffhanger.
  • 31 choice and decision scenes — Choose how Chansung survives, commands, and treats enemies and companions. Decisions affect later passages, companion trust, public support, and the cost of victory.
  • Five Lord dispositions — Iron Blood, Domination, Pragmatism, Cause, and Salvation accumulate throughout the story and shape the kind of Lord Chansung becomes.
  • Four lethal branches and four demo verdicts — Reckless decisions can lead to bad ends, with an immediate retry from the preceding choice. On completion, your accumulated decisions award one of four verdict titles: Conqueror of the Domineering Way, Lord of the Righteous Way, Lord of Pragmatism, or Undecided Lord.
  • Six chapter reports, a Chronicle, and a branch map — Review major decisions and outcomes at chapter breaks, then inspect your recorded path and undiscovered possibilities.
  • Barracks and light LitRPG progression — Spend GP earned from operations on character stats, manage equipment acquired through the story, and review conquered Gates and the faction map.
  • Nine power checks — Character growth, equipment, and recruited companions determine whether major battles end in Overwhelming, Narrow Win, or Sacrifice results, affecting rewards and the final report.
  • A complete audiovisual presentation — Character staging and expressions, 9 illustrated CG scenes, character voices, and 60+ music, ambience, and sound-effect cues.

Chansung — A betrayed special forces platoon leader who awakens “Lord,” the rare power to bind the strong to his name.

Celline — An elf-blooded mage of Gate E-398 and the first companion to swear herself to Chansung.

Baljak — A Hero-grade ogre from Gate E-318 who receives a name and purpose from Chansung and becomes his strongest asset.

HOW COMBAT WORKS

This demo does not contain action combat or a turn-based combat minigame. Battles unfold through visual-novel narration, CG and sound direction, the player’s prior decisions, and character power checks. The core play experience is judgment and consequence—not reflex-based combat.

SUPPORTED IN THE DEMO

  • Player mode: Single-player
  • Platform: Windows
  • In-game text and UI: Korean, English, Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese: This store description is localized, but Traditional Chinese in-game text is not currently included in the demo.

WHAT IS RESERVED FOR THE FULL GAME

The demo contains only Chapter One, “Discarded Hound.” It does not include the story beyond this chapter, the wider Gate campaigns and faction building, or the later journey in which Chansung rises from a new Lord toward continental conquest. The four demo verdicts evaluate the choices made during Chapter One; they are not four entirely separate full-length campaigns.

From betrayal in the Amazon to the birth of a Lord—play the free demo and discover the path your decisions create.
