About This Game

Drawforge is a turn-based strategy game about making the weapons and runes you bring into battle. Draw a weapon, forge and quench it, then trace runes and arrange both in an action queue that resolves in order.

DRAW YOUR WEAPON. FORGE YOUR CHOICES.

Start with materials and a blueprint, then draw your weapon's silhouette on the canvas. The game reads its shape to identify the weapon type, and your design influences its starting properties. Choose how to forge it, weigh better performance against the risk of damage, and decide when to stop. Quench the finished weapon and take the one you drew into battle.

TRACE A RUNE. GIVE IT A TURN.

Draw a rune at the rune station and let the game recognize its shape. Before battle, place a discovered rune in an open action slot alongside your weapons. When its turn comes, it casts automatically. Runes can deal damage, inflict Burn or Bleed, heal, guard, or weaken an enemy. Each rune can cast up to three times per battle, making its place in the queue a meaningful choice.

ARRANGE THE QUEUE. TEST YOUR WORK.

Line up your forged weapons and drawn runes, then watch the turn-based fight unfold in order. Weapon stats and traits, limited rune casts, and durability spent in combat all shape the outcome. Return to the forge with materials, repair or reforge what you made, and rethink the lineup for the next encounter.

Draw its shape. Forge its strength. Write the rune that turns the fight.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

OpenAI ImageGen was used during development to generate and edit some pre-generated 2D pixel-art visual assets, including UI elements, icons, backgrounds, environment artwork, and character or animation source frames. All outputs were reviewed, selected, manually edited, cleaned up, resized, palette-normalized, and integrated by the developer as fixed game assets. The game does not use generative AI at runtime and does not generate live AI content.
