Drawforge is a weapon-forging Roguelite where you draw each blade, choose its materials, and shape its stats through forging and quenching. Take your creation into battle, manage its durability, earn new resources, and return to the forge. No perfect weapon will drop—you must make it yourself.

About This Game

Different materials come with different inherent properties, but the final result depends on the entire forging process.

During forging, you will complete several different steps:

  • Hammering — Shape the weapon and influence its fundamental performance.

  • Polishing — Refine the weapon and improve its overall quality.

  • Quenching — Determine how well the weapon takes shape, with the possibility of unexpected results.

Rough, Refined, Tempered, Microfractured, Cold-Brittle, Elastic...

Conditions and traits created during the forging process remain on the finished weapon, leaving every piece with its own unique history.

You cannot guarantee a perfect result every time.

Sometimes, however, an imperfect weapon can become the most important part of a particular build.

During your adventure, you can carry and arrange multiple types of weapons.

Swords, spears, axes, hammers, staves, shields, daggers, darts, and even stranger weapons all serve different roles in battle.

Once combat begins, your weapons act according to the order you have arranged.

They attack, defend, lose durability, and gradually wear down over the course of battle.

This means you are not only asking:

“Which weapon deals the most damage?”

You also need to consider:

“Which weapon should act first?”

“Should I let my most durable weapon handle the opening rounds?”

“Is this powerful weapon worth using right now?”

“If it breaks during this battle, what will I use afterward?”

Weapon order, combinations, and durability management all form the core of combat strategy.

Light the forge.

Raise your hammer.

This time, the weapons you carry into adventure will be forged by your own hands.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

OpenAI ImageGen was used during development to generate and edit some pre-generated 2D pixel-art visual assets, including UI elements, icons, backgrounds, environment artwork, and character or animation source frames. All outputs were reviewed, selected, manually edited, cleaned up, resized, palette-normalized, and integrated by the developer as fixed game assets. The game does not use generative AI at runtime and does not generate live AI content.
