What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are launching Network & Cyber Security Simulator in Early Access to involve our community in the final stages of development.

The game offers a hands-on simulation experience across networking, SOC operations, and penetration testing, allowing players to explore different areas of IT and cybersecurity through interactive scenarios.

Throughout Early Access, we will continue refining gameplay mechanics, improving the overall experience, and incorporating community feedback.

Our goal is to deliver a high-quality simulation experience from the beginning while continuing to make it even better with our players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Network & Cyber Security Simulator to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months. During this period, we will focus on refining the gameplay experience and incorporating player feedback as we prepare for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to build upon the experience available in Early Access, rather than fundamentally change it.

We plan to further refine the networking, SOC operations, and penetration testing experiences, improve existing scenarios, and introduce additional challenges and interactive content.

We also aim to enhance the overall gameplay experience based on community feedback, making the simulation more immersive, polished, and enjoyable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Network & Cyber Security Simulator offers a hands-on simulation experience focused on networking, SOC operations, and penetration testing.

Players can explore interactive environments, work with networking equipment, configure systems, investigate security alerts, analyze logs, and experience cybersecurity scenarios using practical tools and commands.

The Early Access version is designed to provide an engaging and educational experience across these areas. We will continue refining existing mechanics, improving gameplay, and making adjustments based on player feedback throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we add new content and features throughout Early Access. Pricing may also be reviewed as we approach the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Network & Cyber Security Simulator.

We plan to actively engage with players through Steam Community discussions, reviews, and feedback. Players will be encouraged to share their suggestions, report issues, and provide their thoughts on gameplay mechanics and scenarios.

We aim to use this feedback to improve existing features, refine the gameplay experience, and help shape future updates throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

Get to know the networking devices you only see in theory. Open up rack cabinets in the server room and inspect switch and router interfaces. Grab the RJ45 ethernet cables, scale up the ports, and experience firsthand that establishing physical connections is the first and most critical step in data transmission.

Log in to a virtual PuTTY console terminal heavily inspired by industry-standard systems. Master the authorization process using the `enable` command, and implement fundamental network management practices—such as VLAN configuration, secure remote access via SSH, and NAT protocols—by entering your own commands.

Learn to monitor network traffic and make the right calls during a crisis. Read anomaly signals from the Cyber Threat Map, solve log analysis mechanisms, and apply the exact steps needed to protect the Server Farm within a realistic corporate scenario.

Grasp the logic behind security vulnerabilities. Examine popular exploit types like SQL Injection and XSS to understand how a system can be hacked. Gain a defense-oriented (Blue Team) cybersecurity mindset by applying security patches to close these vulnerabilities.
