About This Content

Change the strap and it is a different watch

Nothing changes a watch faster than the thing it is attached to. The same dial reads formal on stitched leather, off-duty on a NATO weave and purpose-built on a steel bracelet — and switching costs you a few seconds in a menu instead of a new watch. Sixteen straps across four materials, free to pair with any dial face you own.

Before you buy: this pack adds straps to the mechanical dial widget — it does not unlock the widget itself. You need at least one dial pack (Dress, Pilot, Diver or Sport) for the straps to have somewhere to go, and the Vintage pack is a pocket-watch collection that wears no strap at all.

Leather

The one that ages well. Stitched or clean-edged, warm in tone, and the easiest way to make a dial look like it belongs on a wrist rather than on a screen.

  • Espresso Brown — deep brown smooth leather, unstitched edge, steel buckle

  • Vintage Tobacco — distressed dark brown, cream contrast stitching, antique bronze buckle

  • Sunlit Caramel — caramel tan with tonal stitching

  • First Snow White — pure white leather, fine stitching, titanium buckle

Steel bracelet

Linked metal, finishing a watch the way the factory intended. Cold, precise, and the only material here that still reads as expensive from across the room.

  • Galaxy Forged Steel — brushed stainless five-link bracelet

  • Rose Gold Flow — rose-gold five-link bracelet

  • Obsidian Armor — black-coated five-link bracelet

  • Azure Sky Gold — blue bracelet with gold centre links

Rubber

Off-duty. Textured, saturated and unbothered — put a diver or a chronograph on one of these and the whole desktop drops its shoulders a little.

  • White Surf — white textured rubber, folding clasp

  • Jungle Green — olive drab waffle texture

  • Blazing Crimson — bright red woven texture

  • Clear Sky Blue — sky blue with channel grooves

NATO weave

Woven nylon, military by descent. The most casual of the four and the easiest place to be bold: a colour that would shout in leather just sounds cheerful in a weave.

  • Deep Forest Weave — dark green herringbone

  • Indigo Night Weave — deep navy fine weave

  • Rippling Blue Weave — blue and white basket weave

  • Terracotta Red — brick red and cream weave

Two ways to wear it

A strap here is not only a change of texture — you also decide how it sits behind the dial.

  • Laid flat. The strap stretches out below the dial like a watch photographed on a table, both halves in view.

  • Wrapped in 3D. The strap curls around the case as if it were on a wrist, and the watch lifts off the wallpaper instead of lying on it.

  • As much or as little as you like. How much strap shows is adjustable from 20% up to fully extended, and the ends fade softly out so nothing stops on a hard edge.

Which dials these fit

Read this part first: straps hang on the mechanical dial widget, so you need at least one dial pack for this one to do anything. It does not unlock that widget on its own, and the Vintage pocket watches take no strap.

  • Dress Dial Pack — 5 quiet formal faces. Stitched leather, or the rose gold bracelet when you want it heard.

  • Pilot Dial Pack — 5 cockpit-legible faces. Distressed brown leather is the period-correct answer, NATO is the fun one.

  • Diver Dial Pack — 5 tool-watch faces. Rubber or NATO is the safe move, aged bronze on worn leather the interesting one.

  • Sport Dial Pack — 5 high-contrast faces. Rubber and steel, obviously.

  • Vintage Dial Pack — 8 pocket watches. Lovely, but they have no lugs and nowhere to fit a strap, so nothing here goes on them.

Buy the straps once and they follow every dial you own: any strap on any face, in any combination, because strap and dial are stored completely independently. And if what your desktop needs is a tool rather than a look, the separate Tomato Clock and Advanced Time Tools pack adds a Pomodoro, timer, countdown, stopwatch, alarm and a 20-zone world clock.

What you need

This is an accessory pack for DeskForge, so it needs the base app and a dial pack for the straps to go on. DeskForge turns a cluttered Windows desktop into somewhere you actually run your day from: drawers that hold your icons and folders, real folders opened right on the wallpaper, and live widgets like the mechanical watch these straps belong to.

  • Windows 10 (version 1903 or later) and Windows 11

  • Correct scaling at 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, 200%, 250%, 300% and 400% DPI

  • Works across multiple monitors

  • Interface in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), German, Turkish, Thai and Vietnamese

  • Stored locally in SQLite — no account, no network needed

  • One-time purchase, no subscription
