About This Game

Little Valerie has always had trouble falling asleep, lately though her worries and anxieties have become more real and are pestering her every night.

Valerie, however tired she is, intends to meet them with all the remaining courage.

She is armed with an array of candles with various magical properties and will not forgo a midnight snack to bolster her resolve.

Come nightmares! And after she is done with them - blissful sleep awaits.

On her way to sleep Valerie will fight and defeat various nightmares and she has prepared a pocket void for that.

Waves of enemies come at her and the main goal is to hold out until the clock ticks over while taking down as many adversaries as possible.

Tick-tock... Tick-tock...

Nightmares are most scared of light and Valerie's enchanted candles have power to set them ablaze with ease.

Every candle provides access to a pool of alterations arranged in a tangled lattice.

They are able to add additional effects to the candles or in some cases change the way particular candle behaves entirely.

For some reason the lattice seems to be varying every night, Valerie is not sure why though...

Valerie prefers avoiding fighting on an empty stomach, besides a tasty treat always keeps her spirits up and her worries down.

From time to time she gets a chance to visit her fridge, where an adorable rodent provides an assortment of wares that invigorate her with magical powers.

They also seem to be restocking the shelves every Valerie's visit and so she is not worried about the food running out...
