Boring Frog is a puzzle-strategy-adventure game. You control a small frog with multiple state-changing abilities, navigating through mazes filled with laser towers, mirrors, fans, bombs, and other mechanisms. Use various items to redirect laser beams, destroy obstacles, and unfreeze yourself to reach the goal.

Control the frog, collect items, dodge lasers, solve机关 puzzles with wisdom, and reach the goal safely.

Core Gameplay

🐸 Frog State System

The frog has 5 states—smart use of state changes is key to clearing levels:

Normal - Free movement - Default state

Wet - Can safely pass through one laser/fire - Use Water Bucket on self

Floating - Cannot move voluntarily, can pass through obstacles, can be blown by fans - Step on fire tile

Frozen - Completely immobile - Step on ice tile

Dead - Level failed, retry required - Hit by laser or bomb, use Torch on self

🧰 Item System

Items scattered on the map can be picked up and stored in a 9-slot inventory:

Wrench - Change direction of laser towers/mirrors

Mirror - Place to reflect lasers and redirect their path

Water Bucket - Use on self to become Wet, can pass through lasers

Torch - Ignite bombs / melt ice (using on self causes failure)

Hammer - Ground floating frog / detonate bombs

Bomb - Place then ignite with laser or torch; destroys objects within 8 tiles

Laser Tower - Place to continuously emit lasers

Fan - Create airflow to push floating frogs

💡 Mechanisms & Terrain

• Laser Tower - Continuously emits green laser beams

• Mirror - Reflects lasers, has two diagonal orientations

• Fan - Blows in four directions (up/down/left/right)

• Fire Tile - Entering turns you into Floating state

• Ice Tile - Entering freezes you in place

• Bomb - Explodes when ignited, highly destructive
