What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Red Timewarp: Beyond Reality is built on our own in-house game engine, and we want to test the game across a much wider range of hardware, network conditions, playstyles, and player counts than we can cover internally.

The core game is already playable, but Early Access gives us the opportunity to improve performance, stability, multiplayer, balance, progression, and overall game feel together with the community. Player feedback will also help us decide which areas deserve the most attention as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Red Timewarp: Beyond Reality to leave Early Access around Q2 2027. This is our current estimate and may change depending on player feedback, technical development, and how the game evolves during Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we plan to expand and refine the game with additional content, progression, balance improvements, performance optimizations, and multiplayer improvements.

We also plan to further develop the heroes, their individual talent trees, map-specific progression, enemies, encounters, abilities, and the different time periods players can visit. Our priorities may change based on community feedback and what we learn during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already contains the core gameplay loop. Players can fight through enemy hordes, complete objectives, level up and choose upgrades during each run, earn permanent progression, and develop the individual talent trees of the playable heroes.

The game currently features 4 playable heroes with different playstyles and progression, map-specific progression systems, solo play, and online co-op. Runs are intentionally challenging and are built around becoming stronger over multiple attempts rather than completing everything immediately.

The main systems are functional and playable, but players may still encounter balance issues, performance problems, bugs, or multiplayer issues during Early Access. Optimization is an important focus for us, and Early Access will allow us to test the game across a much broader range of PC hardware and real-world network conditions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price during Early Access. When Red Timewarp: Beyond Reality leaves Early Access, we plan to increase the price to reflect the additional content, features, polish, and overall state of the game at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of Early Access development. We plan to listen closely to feedback about gameplay, hero balance, talents, progression, difficulty, multiplayer, performance, and technical issues.

Reports from different hardware configurations and network environments will be particularly valuable to us. We also want to understand how players approach builds, which heroes and talents they enjoy, where progression feels too fast or too slow, and which parts of the game feel frustrating rather than challenging.

We plan to use Steam Discussions and our Discord community to gather feedback and bug reports, discuss the game with players, and help guide our priorities throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

Get In. Get Stronger. Try Again.

Pick your red panda hero, jump into the chaos, and start blasting.

Enemy hordes keep coming, objectives demand your attention, and every level-up gives you three upgrades to choose from. Improve your weapons, power up your abilities, unlock new perks, and stack upgrades together until your build turns into something completely ridiculous.

Slow down the chaos with Bullet Time, uncover hidden parts of the map to earn trophies, and when things get really out of hand, call in your spaceship and slice straight through the enemy horde.

But don't expect to conquer every map on your first few runs.

Every attempt earns you coins that can be invested into your hero's permanent talent tree. Grow stronger, unlock new possibilities, and push a little farther next time. Your early runs are all about surviving, learning what the map has waiting for you, and figuring out how to build your hero.

Eventually, the enemies that once destroyed you become manageable. Then you push deeper. Fight harder. Build stronger.

And maybe, finally, conquer the entire map.

Until the next one destroys you.

One Map Down. The Next One Is Waiting.

Finishing a map doesn't mean you've beaten the game.

Each map comes with its own unique talents and progression, so being fully developed on one map won't let you simply walk through the next. A new map means new challenges, new upgrades to unlock, and another path toward becoming powerful enough to survive it.

You might dominate one map, then get destroyed on the next for another ten runs.

Good.

Time to get stronger again.

4 Red Pandas. 4 Different Ways to Fight.

Choose from 4 playable red panda heroes, each with their own abilities, perks, playstyle, and permanent talent tree.

One hero might focus on overwhelming firepower, while another gives you completely different tools to survive the chaos. Developing one hero doesn't automatically develop the others, so switching characters means learning new abilities, experimenting with different builds, and finding another path toward mastery.

Find the hero that fits your playstyle, experiment with powerful upgrade combinations, or mix different heroes and builds together with your team.

Slow Time. Call Your Ship. Destroy Everything.

The battlefield isn't just about shooting and running.

Slow down the chaos with Bullet Time, dash out of danger, disappear from sight, or use portals to find a way through the fight. Explore beyond the main objectives with your radar, uncover hidden areas, and earn trophies along the way. And when the right perk is active, take control of your spaceship and cut through waves of enemies in spectacular fashion.

With different heroes, abilities, upgrades, and perks, every run can give you new ways to survive, explore, and turn the battlefield completely upside down.

Solo or Online Co-op

Take on the challenge alone or bring your friends into the chaos with online co-op.

Mix different red panda heroes, combine builds, cover each other while completing objectives, and unleash your abilities as the screen fills with enemies, projectiles, explosions, and increasingly ridiculous attacks.

A good team can become unstoppable.

You just have to survive long enough to become one.
