About This Game

You've come to your senses in a place that shouldn't exist. You have no face, no past, only two goals: to understand how you got here, and to find a way out.

The stratum is the boundary space between the physical and spiritual worlds. Not life and not death, not a dream and not a reality. Those who are not ready to let go get here. Fields, forests, abandoned villages, viscous swamps — each zone lives by its own rules and keeps its own secrets. There is no map here. There is only a way forward.

Fear in Impersonal doesn't come with a flash and a scream. It accumulates in the silence of an open field, where something hears your every step. In abandoned houses, where the traces of someone else's life end without explanation. In a swamp where it's dark even during the day, and where the owner of these places is in no hurry to show up.

Sweepers patrol the open spaces — blind, but with phenomenal hearing. The Wanders fill the abandoned streets, having lost all humanity. The owner of the swamps does not hunt — he is simply present, and that is enough. In this world, you're just a random guest that Stratum wants to get rid of.
