Splice genes into strange living creatures for a cheerfully evil biotech corp — inside a game that pretends to be your work computer. Raise them, breed them, put them to work, and hit quota before the Review Cycle ends. Your employer calls them Bioassets™.

About This Game

"Welcome aboard, Technician. Your workstation has been prepared. So has your quota. — Management 🙂"

You are the newest (and most disposable) Junior Bioasset Technician at Bio·Bio·Bio Co., a relentlessly upbeat biotech corporation from a 2000s that never happened. Your issued workstation runs CreaturesOS — and the game is that operating system: boot screen, logon, draggable windows, Start menu, CRT glow, and a desktop wallpaper that is legally required to be honest with you.

Your job: splice genes into living creatures, raise them, breed them, hunt with them, and station them on the production floor — all through the company's cheerful internal programs, from the Splice-O-Matic™ to the Hunting Grounds™. Every creature is just its genes: pick from more than 9,000 of them and the same genome always resolves into the same stats, the same quirks, and the same 3D voxel body. Billions of combinations are possible. Most of them are a bad idea. Splice past your stability budget and find out.

And over it all: the quota. Each Review Cycle demands more than the last, on a deadline that only ticks while you're on shift. Deliver, or be offered a Performance Improvement Plan. Fail that, and the company begins Restructuring. Do not think of it as failure; think of it as Value continuing without you.

Features

Splice over 9,000 genes into BILLIONS of possible creatures: every genome deterministically resolves into stats, traits, abilities, and a one-of-a-kind 3D voxel body

Live inside a fake 2000s operating system: 13 corporate programs, draggable windows, a Start menu, and a permanent CRT hum

Hit quota or get Restructured: escalating Review Cycles, a one-chance PIP, and a desktop wallpaper that doubles as your doom meter

Run the Yield Floor: place machines, wire belts, and station your creatures as operators

Hunt feral creatures, salvage their genomes, breed new lines, and keep everyone fed: hunger is real and death is permanent

The horror is in the HR-speak

Nothing in Bio·Bio·Bio Co. is sinister, officially. Creatures aren't alive; they're Bioassets™. They don't die; they "generate learnings." You weren't threatened; you were encouraged. If you've ever received an email that says "exciting changes ahead!" and felt a chill — this game is about that chill.
