About This Game

Clara is doing everything she can to remain emotionally stable. But something is hunting her, and every place she passes through seems to know what she still refuses to understand.

murmures is a narrative exploration game where even the simplest action can become an inner struggle. Searching a locker, crossing a parking lot, opening a door, or listening to a voice: Clara moves through ordinary places, but a presence begins to reveal itself, returning again and again and gradually distorting them.

To move forward, you entrust your actions to d20 rolls. A roll might help Clara hold on, understand what she’s going through, or fail without bringing everything to a halt. There’s no combat and no punishing game over: only choices, attempts, fragments to piece together, and one question that keeps returning... what is really hunting her?

Explore places filled with whispers

A swimming pool, a parking lot, a park, a neighborhood, a house: every place carries its own tensions, silhouettes, sounds, and memories. These places won’t tell you everything outright. They suggest, resist, and shift the meaning of what you find.

Roll your d20s

Important actions are resolved with twenty-sided dice. Each result shapes what Clara manages to do, what she understands, and what she still avoids facing.
