You may meet many people during your walks, each with somewhere to be or a story to share. Stop for a conversation, sit together on a bench and get to know the familiar faces you meet along the way... you may meet people that have more than a passing conversation to share.

Take photographs of the places, people and wildlife you encounter, along with rarer sights such as meteor showers, rainbows and clear night skies filled with constellations. Build your own photo album and create a lasting record of your time in Avelon.

Custom Engine

Country Walk is powered by its own custom-built engine, created specifically to bring its changing countryside to life. Every part of the technology has been designed around the game, from generating new walks and natural paths to changing weather, wildlife and encounters.

Because the engine was built exclusively for Country Walk, it can continue to grow alongside the game, supporting new locations, features and content while running across a wide range of hardware.

• Idle Mode can take over the journey and automatically continue through new walks while you sit back and watch Avelon unfold.

• Optional sound captions describe nearby and off-screen sounds.

• Alternative colour schemes improve visibility and make important elements easier to distinguish.

• Adjustable visual and camera settings let you tailor the experience for comfort and clarity.

• A calm, pressure-free experience with no combat, time limits or need to complete objectives at a particular pace.

• Flexible exploration lets you stop, rest, take photographs or continue walking whenever you choose.

Country Walk is fully playable on Steam Deck, with complete controller support, clear and readable menus, and controls designed to feel natural on a handheld.
