About This Game

Wheel of Death is a Balatro-inspired roguelike deck-builder and wheel-builder that's all about manipulating the fate of a roulette wheel to make very large numbers. 

The key to defeating Death at his game is to build a deck full of synergistic Tarot Cards that you can creatively sequence each turn to create increasingly powerful combos. Some may change the results of your spin. Others may improve the numbers on your wheel, drop extra balls, give you money, or ACCIDENTALLY DESTROY EVERYTHING.

You'll need to assemble the right deck and play it in the right order to master the wheel. 

Chips with special abilities can award you bonus points, improve your cards, make you rich, or break the rules of the game. Seals can also be applied to pockets on your wheel to grant bonus rewards whenever a ball lands on them.

Keep an eye out for special Negative and Flipped variations of cards, which can totally change how you proceed through a run. There are also special Stitched cards that randomly combine two effects in one. These can wreak absolute havoc with unpredictably strong combinations.

It'll take a clever combination of cards, chips, and seals to defeat Death and keep spinning through Infinite Mode.

Wheel of Death includes 8 different Paths that each feature a special Cheat Death Ability and a unique starter deck. Within each path, you can also choose a Penance, which changes the rules to increase the difficulty, including the final penance that combines them all, which we're not totally sure can actually be beaten.  

Wheel of Death was designed to condense and simplify the fun of roulette, merging it with the strategy of a deck-building roguelike.

Wheel of Death features a wide variety of different builds and synergies. You can master a Red deck, Black deck, Green deck, Odd deck, Even deck, Destroy deck, Star deck, multi-balls deck, money deck, empty-bet deck, full-deck deck, point-scaling deck, raw points deck, basic card deck, multiplier deck, card draw deck, big pocket deck, small pocket deck, zeroed pocket deck, wheel-scaling deck, full-hand deck, empty-hand deck, no-deck deck, random card deck, and a million more that will combine these synergies in various ways as each new run unfolds.

Wheel of Death is made by a 2-person team, with a little outside help. It includes hand-made pixel art by dallas, bespoke key art from Voyager Illustration (Magic the Gathering, Star Wars), and a brand new soundtrack from the Dungeon Synth icon Erang.
