What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Sim Builder is already focused on its core construction sandbox, but Early Access will let us expand the game with more building content, more construction shapes, stronger tools and broader player feedback before the full release. The goal is to grow the builder around the way players actually create, duplicate, share and refine their builds.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Sim Builder to remain in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on player feedback and the scope of planned updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more construction options, more shapes, more objects, improved building tools, a more complete creative workflow and additional polish. We also plan to explore multiplayer building so players can create together.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is centered on the main building experience: creating structures, shaping rooms, working with floors, duplicating builds, decorating spaces and sharing creations through Steam Workshop. Additional systems such as town expansion, renting constructions and visitor attraction will continue to grow over time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when Sim Builder leaves Early Access, depending on the amount of content added during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will help guide new construction tools, quality-of-life improvements, content priorities and Steam Workshop features. We want players to share what they build, show where the tools feel limited and help shape the most useful additions for creative builders.”

About This Game

About the Game

Sim Builder is a construction-focused sandbox where building is the main game. Create homes, shape custom layouts, decorate every room, connect lots into a small town, and keep refining your ideas with tools designed for players who love building.

Build Without Fighting the Tools

Start from an empty grid and design the structure you want. Create shapes, place walls, add floors, build upward, dig downward, connect levels, and duplicate entire floors when you want to expand fast. Adjust props, windows, shapes, furniture and decoration so each build fits your idea instead of forcing you into a fixed template.

Create, Duplicate, Reuse

Group large objects, copy layouts, duplicate details and move pieces around as your project grows. Build a compact home, a tall apartment block, a pool area, a decorated interior, or a connected set of lots that becomes a small town.

Share Your Builds

Publish your creations through Steam Workshop, download builds made by other players, and place them in your own world.

Extra Game Modes

Alongside free building, Sim Builder includes optional systems where you can rent your constructions to citizens, expand the town and attract visitors. These modes add context and progression while keeping construction at the center of the experience.
