About This Software

Virtual Pager is a walkie-talkie for VR and desktop. Hold a friend's tile, talk, let go. It plays on their end. No menus, no Discord, no taking the headset off.

In VR and at your desk

Runs as a SteamVR dashboard tab in your headset, with a desktop companion app for your monitor. One identity, same contacts in both; the app hands off between them automatically. Runs entirely outside your game as a SteamVR overlay. No mods, no OSC, nothing injected. Safe to use alongside anti-cheat.

What it does

• Talk to one person. Hold their tile, talk, release to send. Pages run up to 90 seconds.

• Group channels. Make a room and share one link or a short code. Paste it in the app and you're in. Hold the channel tile to talk to the whole group.

• In VR, one click away. A tab in your SteamVR dashboard. Open the dashboard and it's there, in any game. A wrist-mounted panel is in the works.

• Desktop app too. Same identity, same contacts. Use it with or without a headset plugged in.

• Do Not Disturb + quiet hours. Schedule silence windows so nothing interrupts you.

Private by design

Every voice message is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it leaves. The relay server passes a sealed package it's designed to never be able to open. There is no account, no email, no phone number. Your identity is a cryptographic key generated on your machine. The first time someone new pages you, you approve them once; after that their pages play instantly.
