Type the World teaches correct ten-finger typing. Instead of random words, you type real places on a real map – countries, capitals, cities, rivers and more from all around the world.

The demo includes the European continent, including countries, capitals, cities, rivers etc in the Type the World game mode, and a 10 minute session time limit in the Keyboard Trainer mode. The full game includes the whole world in Type the World mode with no time limit in Keyboard Trainer.

Type the World works the way learning typing always has: repetition. You type and keep typing until your fingers know where the keys are without looking. Once you have the muscle memory down, speed comes next.

No experience needed. Learn the very basics in Keyboard Trainer mode, and venture forth to the full Type the World mode with 2,000 real world locations to practice on. And while you’re training finger muscle memory, you also drill your brain on geography – two valuable everyday skills.
