The kitchen has turned against you. Knives are falling, shakers are firing back, and rolling pins are sweeping across the floor. The vegetables were supposed to be dinner. Instead, they’re fighting their way out, and you’re leading the escape!

Brave Vegetable: Kitchen Escape is a cute but brutal top-down bullet-hell roguelite. Choose your hero, survive 20 escalating waves of animated kitchenware, build your strength between battles, and defeat the multi-phase boss waiting at the end of each kitchen.

Blast, dodge, build

Fight with twin-stick combat, quick dashes, rechargeable shields, Perfect Guards, and abilities unique to each character.

Between waves, choose one of three stacking power-ups and use rerolls to shape the build you want. Discover 35 upgrades across five standard rarities, plus rare Everbloom powers capable of transforming an entire run.

Enemy combinations change from run to run, forcing you to adapt as the kitchen becomes more dangerous.

25 vegetables, 25 playstyles

Every vegetable has distinct stats, attacks, an active ability, and a passive talent. Control the battlefield with Onion, brawl up close as Butternut, plant defensive sprouts with Broccoli, or bombard the kitchen with Pumpkin’s explosive gourds.

Start with Carrot, Onion, and Chilli, then unlock the rest through campaign progress, records, and achievement challenges. Earn the full roster to unlock Truffle, the ultimate reward.

Fight through the Countertop, Stove, Fridge, Bakery, and Sink. Each kitchen brings themed enemies, milestone elite encounters, environmental hazards, and a unique multi-phase boss.

More ways to play

Take on the five-kitchen campaign, survive Endless Countertop, push beyond wave 20 in Endless Kitchen, face every boss in Classic or Infernal Boss Rush, or experiment freely in Practice Kitchen.

Every mode supports solo play and shared-screen local co-op for up to four players, with Steam Remote Play Together support. Each player chooses their own vegetable and develops their own build while the kitchen scales to challenge the whole group.

Kitchen Escape and Endless Kitchen offer three difficulty levels for both solo and co-op play. Seedling includes optional assists such as auto-aim and auto-shield, as well as retries at every wave. Rooted provides the intended, balanced experience, while Overgrown delivers the kitchen at its toughest. Three difficulty tiers, designed for every type of player.
