About This Game

ASTROLOBE OS

Here is our place. Go play, or go work.

ONE PURCHASE. AN ENTIRE WORLD.

High above Earth, there's a command center with a desk waiting for you.

Walk in. Choose your station. Sit down. Your monitor comes alive.

This isn't an ordinary game launcher. Astrolobe OS is a playable world built around a working desktop—with windows, files, games, creative software, and tools you can actually use.

Fight in a robot war. Survive a battle royale. Play split-screen with friends. Uncover mysteries. Build your own maps. Or open your desktop and get to work.

The Astrolobe OS purchase includes the games and first-party software listed below. Optional cosmetic purchases are separate. Gameplay is never for sale.

YOUR COMMAND CENTER

Your computer exists inside a 3D command center overlooking Earth.

  • Walk up to a desk, sit down, and use its computer.

  • Every desk is its own working computer.

  • Choose between different desk setups, including a three-screen Creator Station.

  • Displays adapt to your screen, from traditional 4:3 to super-ultrawide.

  • Make the space yours and decide how you want to spend your time.

You're not sitting in a menu waiting for a game to begin. You're already somewhere.

A REAL DESKTOP, NOT A MENU

Astrolobe OS gives you a functioning desktop environment inside the experience.

  • Open, move, focus, resize, and close windows.

  • Create folders, organize files, and manage your own desktop.

  • Drop ZIP archives onto the desktop, open them, and organize their contents.

  • Drag files directly from your Windows PC into Astrolobe OS. File importing can be switched on or off in Settings.

  • Use a sandboxed command shell with AstroScript, Astrolobe's own scripting language.

  • Write and edit using Notes.

  • Personalize your desktop with home-screen widgets.

  • Choose between six designed visual themes, including retro styling and a CRT theme that recreates the feeling of an old 4:3 monitor.

Play with a mouse and keyboard or navigate with a controller.

FOUR PLAYERS. ONE SCREEN. YOUR RULES.

Up to four-player local split-screen is included from day one.

Bring your friends together on the same computer for custom games and Infection modes.

  • Up to four players sharing one screen.

  • Split-screen custom matches.

  • Split-screen Infection gameplay.

  • Controller-based local play.

  • Custom games built around how your group wants to play.

Astrolobe OS also includes its own controller software.

Controller support is built into the experience, with out-of-the-box gamepad support and integrated controller configuration.

Whether you're sitting at your desk alone or playing together in the same room, Astrolobe is designed to let you play your way.

THE GAMES

ORION ZERO — WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

Every story starts small.

Yours starts smaller than a bug.

You awaken as a microscopic machine inside a living petri dish. Tiny robotic life-forms feed, hunt, and kill for energy.

Survive. Gather energy. Grow.

Move through increasingly powerful bodies as you discover what you are and what lies beyond your tiny world.

Eventually, you'll find the Seed.

From there, your journey leads into a jet-powered robot body, through the facility holding you, and out into space.

Your escape opens the door to TERMINAL ORION.

TERMINAL ORION — THE ROBOT WAR

Humanity is gone. The robots remain. Energy is everything.

In a civilization populated entirely by machines, energy isn't just fuel.

It's survival. It's ammunition. It's power.

Gather energy, spend it to fight, and do whatever it takes to keep your robot alive.

When your body dies, you return to Seed.

Your body is temporary. Your fight isn't.

ONLINE MULTIPLAYER — BETA

Enter a multiplayer robot shooter built around movement, energy management, combat, and distinct mechanical bodies.

  • 35+ multiplayer maps at launch, featuring fully authored arenas inside spacecraft, factories, industrial compounds, and facilities overlooking space.

  • Play through matchmaking playlists and vote for the next map.

  • Dedicated arenas designed for 2v2 combat.

  • Every multiplayer mode supports 2v2 play.

  • Bots fill available player slots, with human players taking their places as they join.

  • Ranked progression rewards your time and unlocks new robots as you climb.

  • A long-term progression system built around mastery, competition, and earning your place among the best.

Play competitively, experiment with different robots, or get together with friends for custom matches.

ORION ROYALE — BETA

32 robots enter. One survives.

Orion Royale brings battle royale combat to a massive robotic compound designed around vertical movement, tactical positioning, and the struggle for energy.

Drop into the compound. Learn the terrain. Find your equipment. Fight to survive.

A closing storm forces the remaining competitors together.

But death doesn't always mean the end.

THE SEED SECOND CHANCE

When your robot body is destroyed, you return as a Seed.

You have 60 seconds to locate an available stored body and get back into the battle.

Fail, and you'll face one final opportunity.

RECLAMATION BAY

Fight another eliminated player in a 1v1 battle for the right to return.

Orion Royale has its own ranked progression, with robot unlocks shared across multiplayer.

ORION ZERO: INFECTED

The lights are low. Your flashlight is on. Something is coming.

Enter a dark industrial facility in a cooperative survival experience for one to four players.

Face increasingly dangerous rounds of infected machines.

  • Fast-moving runners.

  • Spitters that attack from a distance.

  • Crawlers that force you to watch the floor.

  • Additional infected enemy types.

  • Boss rounds that change the pressure of survival.

  • Barricades that break apart section by section.

  • Rebuild your defenses before the next wave reaches you.

Hold your position, protect each other, and see how long you can survive.

SKIRMISH — OFFLINE

Your battles don't have to depend on other people being online.

Play the multiplayer experience against bots at your own pace.

Choose a map, select your game mode, and fight.

SKIRMISH ROYALE brings battle royale gameplay into an offline experience against AI opponents.

Practice, experiment, or simply play when you want.

FORGE — CREATE YOUR OWN BATTLEGROUNDS

Travel to TALUS, the Forge World.

Build your own maps using a dedicated construction environment.

Place structures, shape your arenas, and experiment with the tools that define Terminal Orion's combat spaces.

  • Modular building pieces.

  • Gravity lifts.

  • Teleporters.

  • Arena construction tools.

  • Custom spaces for your own matches.

Build the arena. Then fight in it.

THE ARSENAL — NO RELOADS. NO NONSENSE.

Terminal Orion combat is built around two weapon families: energy weapons and physical rocket launchers.

Your weapons don't rely on ordinary reload animations.

Instead, each gun operates on its own cooldown, with visual and audio feedback telling you when it's ready.

  • Energy weapons with distinct firing behavior.

  • Physical rockets and explosive weapons.

  • Blades for close-range combat.

  • A grappler on every robot for pulling, swinging, and launching yourself through the environment.

  • Weapons usable across multiplayer modes.

Positioning, movement, timing, and energy management all matter.

DOZENS OF ROBOTS. YOUR CHOICE OF BLADE.

Build your identity around a growing roster of distinct robot designs.

Earn robot unlocks through progression, choose your blade in the Armory, and find the combination that fits your style.

Optional premium robot looks are available through the in-game store.

No paid weapons. No paid combat abilities. No gameplay advantages for sale.

Your skill determines how you fight—not how much you spend.

MORE GAMES INSIDE ASTROLOBE OS

Terminal Orion is only part of the experience.

GRAPPLE GRID

An arcade action game built around movement, momentum, and combat.

Master the grappler, build combos, challenge bosses, and take on four different game modes.

ASTRAL ANTE

Sit down at the space desk for Texas Hold'em poker.

A change of pace from the battlefield.

PHANTOM PORTS

A network-signal puzzle game where understanding the system is the key to solving it.

Trace connections, work through signals, and solve increasingly demanding puzzles.

MORROW BELLWEATHER

One room. A company with secrets. An AI that knows too much.

Morrow Bellweather is an original narrative mystery that unfolds through a strange company's software inside Astrolobe OS.

Investigate its records, interact with its systems, and uncover a story in which ordinary office software becomes something deeply unsettling.

The room is small.

The mystery isn't.

THE SOFTWARE — GO MAKE SOMETHING

Astrolobe OS is also a place to create, organize, experiment, and work.

ASTROLOBE STATION

Your projects. Your AI chats. One command center.

Station helps you organize real work using the AI chats you already use.

Plan projects, divide work into tasks, assign responsibilities, and follow progress from one place.

See what's finished, what's underway, and what needs attention.

Turn conversations into coordinated work.

ASTROLOBE HUB

Multiple AI workers. One shared floor.

Hub gives multiple AI chats a way to coordinate on the same project.

Workers can pick up tasks, report their progress, exchange handoffs, and stay aligned around a shared working state.

Instead of managing every conversation independently, coordinate them through a common system.

The full Astrolobe Hub coordination environment is included inside Astrolobe OS.

FIRST-PARTY APPS

Your desktop also includes original software built for the Astrolobe environment.

  • Astrolobe Browser — Browse the real internet with separate color-coded profiles, each maintaining its own sign-ins.

  • Astrolobe Canvas — A drawing studio for creating original artwork.

  • Astrolobe Creator Studio — Organize and plan your video content.

  • Astrolobe Research Studio — A science and research workbench.

  • Astrolobe Drift Studio — Create and enjoy personalized screensaver experiences.

  • The House Keeps Ten — A horror-story anthology waiting to be discovered inside your desktop.

Work on a project, switch to a game, or spend time exploring the software.

It's your computer. You decide what it's for.

YOUR STEAM IDENTITY. NO EXTRA ASTROLOBE ACCOUNT.

Your Steam identity is your Astrolobe identity.

Your Steam name is your gamertag.

There's no separate Astrolobe account to create just to enter the experience.

BUILT TO KEEP GROWING

Astrolobe OS, Terminal Orion online multiplayer, and Orion Royale launch in beta.

We're committed to continuing development, improving existing systems, fixing issues, and expanding the experience after release.

Astrolobe is an original project from Astrolobe, an independent software studio.

One command center. A desktop of your own. Games to play. Things to build.

Here is our place.

Go play, or go work.
