About This Game

The town needs power. The plant needs fixing. The reactor needs you to keep it alive.

Halcyon Energy is hiring.

Work with up to three colleagues. Weld pipes. Tape up live cables. Fix broken machines. Peel your friends off the far wall when a burst pipe sends them flying down the corridor. Work together, and you might survive.

Halcyon Energy offers a range of workplace hazards to spice up your work life. Bursting pipes will throw you down corridors. Fires will test your suit's thermal protection. Live cables will make you dance. Pressurized compartments will violently reposition your body. Spills will take your legs out from under you. These are routine hazards you are expected to deal with.

Halcyon Energy is contracted to sell power to the highest bidder. It is your job to make enough of it. Every shift lasts six minutes. Vote on a contract, set the reactor to Economy, Rated or Overdrive, and maintain the town's demand until the whistle blows.

The only time Halcyon cares about safety is when the inspector is on site. The inspector works for an independent regulator and will issue citations for safety breaches, including the puddle you are currently lying in. Halcyon Energy will deduct fines directly from your pay.

Working for Halcyon Energy entitles you to purchase upgrades from the employee shop: bots that mop, service and repair, better tools, and improvements for the plant. Upgrades are intended to make you and the plant operate more efficiently. Clock out rich, or take another contract and push your luck.

Reactor health never comes back. 95% of employment ends in a catastrophic event. SCRAM the reactor, or get a front row seat to a glorious nuclear meltdown. Once the klaxon sounds, you only have minutes. Will your contract be terminated, or will you fully melt down?
