Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Office Overlord to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months to 1 year.

This timeframe may change depending on the development process and the feedback we receive from players. We intend to use the Early Access period to refine the game and improve its overall quality before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand the game with additional content, features, and gameplay options, while further developing and polishing the existing systems.

We also plan to improve game balance, the overall gameplay experience, and general quality based on the data and feedback collected during Early Access.

The scope and priorities of some planned content may evolve depending on player feedback and the development process.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Office Overlord includes the core gameplay loop along with the main features and fundamental systems that we want players to experience.

Players will be able to experience the primary gameplay structure and key systems during Early Access. Throughout the Early Access period, we plan to continue updating, improving, and expanding the game with additional content and features.

Some systems may continue to receive balancing, adjustments, and further development based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to keep the same base price during Early Access and after the full release. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will have the opportunity to play the game and experience its development before the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather feedback and suggestions from players through the Steam Community, player reviews, and bug reports, and use this information to help improve the game throughout development.

We are particularly interested in feedback regarding combat systems, skill balance, difficulty, team-building strategies, Quality of Life (QoL) improvements, and the overall gameplay experience.

We will consider this feedback alongside our internal testing to help prioritize balance adjustments, bug fixes, and improvements to the overall Office Overlord experience throughout Early Access.”
