“We anticipate that Project Z: Fall of Montréal will remain in Early Access for approximately 18 to 24 months. This estimate may change based on community feedback, the development of new chapters, and testing of the online co-op mode. Our priority is to release a complete, stable version that stays true to our vision, rather than rushing the release.”

Our goal is also to progressively improve the AI, animations, balance, interface, performance, and accessibility. We plan to explore adding an online co-op mode, depending on test results and development possibilities.

The scope and order of these additions may evolve based on community feedback and the project's needs.”

“The current version offers the foundation of a single-player narrative experience. Players can explore an initial section of Montreal, scavenge environments, gather resources, uncover story elements, and face off against the infected.

The core mechanics are functional, but several elements will continue to evolve—specifically animations, AI, combat, the user interface, balancing, sound, and optimization. Consequently, the current content does not yet represent the final experience.

Online cooperative mode is not included in the current version.”

We plan to offer the game at a discounted price at the start of Early Access. The price may then gradually increase as new chapters, environments, features, and improvements are added.

Players who purchase the game during Early Access will retain access to the full version without having to buy it again. Any significant price changes will be announced in advance.”

We also plan to post development updates, outline upcoming steps, and occasionally conduct surveys or playtests. The most relevant feedback will influence our priorities and potential improvements, while remaining true to the overall vision for the game.”
