About This Game

Vanguard Monsters is a run-based creature raising roguelike autobattler.

Hatch a team, evolve them to more powerful forms, and collect gear to defeat the endless forces of the encroaching void.  

Strategic Auto Battles

Analyze your enemies before each battle to choose the best positions and gear for your monsters to combat your foes.  Once the battle begins your monsters will fight on their own.  BUT you still have influence, with limited repositioning, potions and powerful Super Moves you can turn the tide of battle at critical moments. 

Raise a Team

Hatch eggs you find during a run to add new monsters to your team.  Manage the strengths, weaknesses and synergies of your monsters to maximize the power of your team.  Feed them food boost their stats the way you see fit.

Evolve Monsters

Powerful items you find during a run can evolve monsters, boosting their stats, offering a choice between 2 new abilities, and changing their appearance.  Every monster can evolve twice, greatly increasing their strength.  Choose wisely which will help your team most.

Pick your Battles

Navigating each zone will require careful planning.  Different routes offer different rewards and challenges. Shops, treasure, forges, elite enemies, random events; you must weigh your choices to reach the ultimate challenge at the end of each area.
